Party, 12 July 1997
The party is this coming weekend. Many unfortunate souls have deemed other commitments more improtant than our party and are still getting my annoying email. This is because you're probably on the Kabuki mailing list and you just lose.As with all Midgard parties, food, drink, and firearms will be provided. We only ask that you bring yourself and toys to play with.(Someone suggested that I clarify toys. I didn't mean sex toys. That's Laurie's party that same weekend! I mean toys for purposes of "home improvement", sledge hammers, nail guns, and such. We are tired of staring at the same old drywall and we really don't need our security deposit back anyway.)
For those of you not busy before the party on Sat., we will be having dinner,spaghetti, salad, corn on the cob, at 5:00pm. We're hoping all of those that would like to see us before the party gets into full swing and those of you that have presents will be able to make it then. We were going to have dinner at Paradise that night, however I didn't have time to set it up.
And now the much awaited directions
From 280 South or North
Take 280 to 85 towards MTVW. Get off at Fremont Ave. Turn right at the first light onto Fremont. Turn left after two blocks onto Mary. Go about five blocks to Knickerbocker and turn right. Take the first left, the first right,the first left onto Pippin Ave and we're the fifth house on the left.
From 101 North or South
Take 101 to Mathilda south. Stay on Mathilda till you hit El Camino. Turn right. Go three blocks to Mary and turn left. Go Five blocks to Knickerbocker, one street after Heatherstone and turn left.Take the first left, the first right,the first left onto Pippin Ave and we're the fifth house on the left.
From Cal Train
Get off at the murphy Ave. cal Train Station in downtown Sunnyvale and give us a call. Someone should be able to come pick you up. Advance warning would be prefered.From your favorite telephone
