Description
Il Fornio is a nice italian restuarant that I'm sure many of you have been to and thus are ignoring my review. The price of the dishes runs from fifteen to twenty dollars and price per head with drinks and apps will probably run twenty-three to thirty dollars depending on how wild we all are. They menu has many selections for meat and non-meat eaters. I recomend their filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and their carpaccio appetizer. They have a variety of fish and sea food, salads, pasta, and dead cow. They are known for their fresh breads and desserts and usually have two or three daily selections.Directions
From the 101
Take the 101 south to 87 south. Exit at Park, turn left. Right onto Market, the restaurant is on the ground floor of the Hyatt hotel at the corner of Market and San Carlos.
From the 280 southbound
Take the Vine/Almaden exit, turn left onto Almaden. At San Carlos, turn right, go one block to Market.
From the 880 southbound
Take 280 southbound as above.
