Description
Golden Buddha is my favorite Chinese restaurant, and until now a well-kept south bay secret. They have the best sizzling rice soup I've encountered anywhere. Their versions of all the other standard dishes (including my favorite, candied pecans with prawns) are excellent. Service is quick and friendly. The trick is to get seated in the atmospheric "nice" room, avoiding the evilly stark "white folks" room. :) About 2 km away is an Asian shopping center with a superb Chinese pastry bakery (the name of which escapes me at the moment). You'll have to follow me.Entree prices range from $8 to $11, an excellent value.
