Time: Wednesday, March 14th, 7:30pm Place: Armadillo Willy's Barbeque 1031 N. San Antonio Rd. Los Altos 650-941-2922 Description: Armadillo Willy's is a much-beloved Place of Barbecue. Steaming piles of dead animal. Chicken, Beef, and Prok, slathered in a variety of barbecue sauces. Admittedly not the greatest place for the vegetarian, but the meatasaurus appreciators wax fairly poetic. [Review by RichardT] Kabuki was last at Armadillo Willy's on Sept 7th, 2000. Note that Willy's is cafeteria style-- you order as you come in, and bring your food (or waiting number) to your table. They do not take reservations, so let's try to meet en masse between 7:30 and 7:40 so we can justify dragging a bunch of tables together! Directions: Armadillo Willy's is at San Antonio and El Camino, next to Chef Chu's, at the intersection of Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Los Gatos. From Berkeley/Oakland: Take 880 south to the Dumbarton. Continue on 101 south to San Antonio. Head west on San Antonio past El Camino and make a U-turn. The restaurant is on your right. From the South Bay: Take 101 North to San Antonio. Take San Antonio west past El Camino and make a U-turn. The restaurant is on your right. [Directions by RichardT]
