El Camino Real Mountain View Description: Passage is one of the too-numerous-to-count little Indian restaurants in Mountain View. Mark, Rachel, and I feel that its one of the better ones. Their menu is a bit more varied than many of the other MtV restaurants, and they have neither a commitment to destroying your tastebuds via an exclusively spicy menu, nor a preference for boring you to death by blandness. In short, a well rounded menu. On Wednesdays, they also have a dinner buffet, at $10/plate ($9 for the vegetarian buffet). In theory, Kabuki was last at Passage to India on July 21st. I think my records must be wrong. [Review by RichardT] Directions: Short: Passage to India is on the Central Expressway side of El Camino, between Shoreline and Castro in Mountain View. Public Transit: The restaurant is on the 22 El Camino line. It is also three blocks "north" of Castro Street, where the Mountain View CalTrain station is. So, take Caltrain to Mountain View, then walk up Castro to El Camino, turn right, and the restaurant is several blocks ahead on your right. Long: Take your route of choice to 101 and Moffett Blvd in Mountain View. Follow Moffett away from the bay to El Camino Real, passing Central Expressway and downtown Mountain View. Turn right and proceed approximately four blocks; the restaurant is on the right hand side, at the corner one block before Shoreline. Parking Note: There is parking attached to the restaurant, for a change. Cool, huh?! - RichardT
