This Event:

Wed 11/22, Amarin Thai, Mountain View

Coming Events:

<hrrm, looks like time to schedule more dinners...>

Time:

	Wednesday, November 22nd, 7:30pm

Place:

	Amarin Thai
	156 Castro Street
	Mountain View
	650-988-9323

Description:

I was on a quest, walkin' through a field of poppies, poppies, poppies...
Wait, wrong song. Anyway, since MarkE moved away from Berkeley, I've
been looking for a Thai restaurant in the South Bay that made me as
happy as Cha Am. I haven't found one yet. Amarin Thai, however,
which recently opened on Castro in Mountain View, is pretty happymaking.

Generally spicier than Cha Am and with a much broader vegetarian
menu, Amarin's prices are in line with Castro/MtV restaurants -
Generally seven dollar entrees, plus a few dollars for the seemingly
endless flow of Iced Coffess some of our number seem to feel are necessary.

Kabuki last attended Amarin Thai on May 10th

Directions:

Short: Amarin is one block down Castro from Central. The CalTrain
lot is a good place to park.

Long: Take your route of choice to Moffett Blvd and 101. Head
peninsula west (south) on Moffett until you pass Central and it
becomes Castro. Park at the first available opportunity.
