This Event:

	Wed 11/8, Afhgan House, Sunnyvale

Coming Events:

<hrrm, looks like time to schedule more dinners...>

Time:

	Wednesday, November 8th, 7:30pm

Place:

	Afghan House
	1103 E El Camino Real
	Sunnyvale

Description:

Afghan House serves, well, afghani food. The other afghani restarant
kabuki normally frequents, Kabul, tends strongly toward the interesting
rice dishes motif. Afghan House has a *much* broader menu, tending in
fact towards interesting meat dishes, a variety of sauces only hinted
at by other persian and afghan cuisine that I've encountered, and a
delightfully impressive wine list. Prices are moderate, in the $8-$13
	per entree range.

Kabuki was last at Afghan House on August 9th

Directions:

	Short:

Afghan House is just up El Camino from Lawrence Expressway, on the
right hand side of the street, say two blocks (albeit one of them
is huge). There is parking next to the restaurant.

	Long:

Take Lawrence Expressway south from 101 in Sunnyvale. Get off of
Lawrence at El Camino, and turn right (compass west, peninsula
north). Drive two blocks, and the restaurant is on the corner on
	your right.

	Transit:

Give up. Well, Afghan House is actually on El Camino, so you
can take the 22 bus from anywhere else on El Camino. But in
general, in the south bay, give up. Evil General Motors. We
hates them, we do, yes my precious.
