The owner is Egyptian and the food's authentic. There's vegetarian food as well as grilled meats. I'd expect some of the food to resemble Greek/Turkish/Israeli, and Egyptian breads are usually excellent. Post-Mortem Review: Not Positive :-) The menu was _very_ limited; about 3-4 kinds of meat, either on a stick or a sandwich, plus about 3 apps. There were more choices of meat at the meat counter, but that wasn't what they were cooking that night. The carnivores mostly thought the meat was dry and boring. The felafel was so-so, but apparently better than the meat. They coped surprisingly well with our crowd, but they're basically set up for counter service. Price was right, though - about $5-6 plus sodas. The Indian restaurant next door looked like a much better choice! It's South Indian, vegetarian, wasn't full but had some large family groups with kids bouncing around, so they ought to be able to handle KW just fine.
