Description:

Kosta's is a fine little Greek restaurant, the sort I used to
go to in Edmonton. For wierd reasons I do not understand,
San Mateo has a large Mediterranean and Middle Eastern
community. This of course means... Food! Restaurants with
Tsaziki and Gyros, and yummy Greek salads, and wierd little
olives. Yum! And loud, congenial proprietors.

There are some vegetarian options, although there's
definitely more lamb on the menu. Entrees are reasonably
priced. I have not sampled the wine. This is one of my
offices favorite places for lunch. Joe Bob Sez 'Check out
	the Avgolomeno.'

    Kabuki-West last attended Kosta's on December 22nd.

Directions:

    Short:

Kosta's is one and one half blocks west of El Camino Real on
25th street in San Mateo, just a tad south of highway 92.

    Long:
Take your route of choice to 92. Turn towards El Camino, and
get off the freeway at El Camino southbound. Proceed to West
25th street (I believe its the second light). Turn right,
proceed one block, and look for parking. The restaurant is
on the right hand side, near the far end of the block.
