Description:

Kabul has two restaurants. This is the Sunnyvale one.

Kabul serves Afghan cuisine in an atmosphere where the host wears a
black bow tie and comes by your table occasionally to sincerely
inquire after your comfort. The tablecloths are pink but the rest
of "the atmosphere touches" ARE in good taste.

The help is pleasant, knowledgeable, and available. This is
Ariana's favorite restaurant, one of my top three. Several bay
area restaurant reviewers and the friends we have brought there
    also express definite satisfaction.

Nature of the cuisine fits what one would expect based on geography
(if China were missing), similarities to Indian, and Burmese are
apparent. Most entrees are served with rice.

Vegetables of note: Cauliflower, Spinach, Carrot, and Pumpkin.
Animals of note: Lamb, Beef, Chicken, and Yogurt.

The menu lists four vegetarian entrees out of eighteen total. All
    four side dishes are vegetarian.

Entrees range from $9 to $16 and include salad. Soups and
appetizers are $3 each. Deserts around $3.

Kabuki last attended Kabul in Sunnyvale on July 19th.

Directions:

    Short:
Kabul is set back in the corner of a small shopping center
on the forner of El Camino and Pastoria/Hollenbeck.

    By automobile:
101 to Sunnyvale. Mathilde south to El Camino. Turn right
at El Camino one light to Hollenbeck. Turn in to the parking
lot at the second driveway and park.
