Next Event:

Tue 5/7: Goode Company Barbeque, Houston

Time:

  Tuesday, May 9th, 7:30pm

Place:

  Goode Company Barbeque
  5109 Kirby Dr.
  Houston, TX 77098
  (713) 522-2530

Description:

Goode Company Barbeque is the crown jewel of Jim Goode's
Houston restaurant empire, home of the finest barbeque you
may ever eat anywhere. They've got five different kinds of
smoked sausage, all kinds of beef and pork ribs, brisket,
and you haven't truly lived until you've eaten the "Austin
Baked Beans." Goode Co. is *not* vegetarian friendly
(yes, even the vegetables have meat in them, except maybe
the cole slaw, and even then I'm not too sure). The pecan
pie is legendary all by itself.

Kabuki-West has never (so far as I know) attended Goode Co.
  Barbeque.

Directions:

Short: Kirby, one block south of Hwy 59. Public transit? Who
are you kidding? Get a car. Preferably a Suburban. With
  longhorns on the grill.

Long: Get to Houston quick before summer begins and we're still
  having amazing weather...

Dan (been a long time since I've been to a K-W event -- gotta have one down
here I guess)
