Los Altos 1-650-948-9463 Description: Cafe Bombay is your typical Indian restaurant with a buffet. The buffet's been well-stocked and the food's been good, and if you want to order off the menu they've got samosas, kulcha, lots of tandoori stuff, curries, etc. with a bit more seafood than most. Kabuki went to Cafe Bombay once a few years ago, and I've been there with other groups. Directions: This is the corner of El Camino and San Antonio, in the little shopping center on the Penninsula-Northwest side, so it's across San Antonio from Chef Chu's and across El Camino from Tower Records. From the North or South on 101: Take 101 to San Antonio Exit ("Los Altos") west to El Camino From the 280 North: Take 280 to Page Mill, Page Mill east to El Camino, go South. From Berkeley/Oakland: Take 880 South to the Dumbarton Bridge. Take the Dumbarton to 101 Southbound. Follow "From North" directions. Caltrain: Take the train to the San Antonio stop. San Antonio road is the bridge crossing the tracks just north from where you get off the train, so follow that until the road stops being elevated, and then walk West to El Camino and cross El Camino. Maybe 3/4 mile?
