On Sunday, February 16, at 5:00 pm, EarthSave will hold its regular monthly potluck at the West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 8470 SW Oleson Road in Portland. Please bring a vegan or vegetarian
entree or dessert to serve 4-6 people, a card listing ingredients, and your own plate and utensils.
After dinner, chapter members Pam and Joe Leitch will talk about the home they recently purchased, and their holistic approach-using Permaculture principles-to renovating it. Changes they've made include installing solar panels for hot water and electricity and rain barrels for water collection. The yard is being converted to a food forest to supply sustainable uses, habitat, and a portion of their food needs.
